Lydia's New Favorite Activity

Lydia’s new favorite activity is…driving her parents crazy! Last week she started climbing on the dinning room table and kitchen table. Tonight, Chris and I were cleaning up after dinner and the kids were playing. At some point I heard Chris ask, “Where is Lydia?” She was on the dining room table, of course. Today we had a babysitter come to the house because Lydia’s babysitter, Joan, is on vacation. The babysitter said something like, “Lydia is quick. She got on the table several times today.”

Wesley knows better than to climb on the table but he was tempeted to join her.

My laptop is her main motivation but if it is closed or moved, she finds other things like this ink pen. She has a "nan aid" on her arm because Wesley likes to use them to cover his mosquito bites and she wants to be just like him.

Last week one of my friends asked if I teach my children how to climb on the tables. Of course not; it is a huge pain.

Here is a sweet picture of Lydia holding a sippy cup for one of her babies. I am not sure why the photo rotated this way.

Woo Hoo, Lydia, you lil' cutie, you're gonna keep Mommy on her toes! I love her red hair more every time I see her! And, of course, I'm in love with Wesley and his curls! Glad he's my future son-in-law!

Climbing on the table is better than dancing on the table!

Eek! Please, please, please, do not bring Lydia over one week to show Samantha how it's done--that's one thing that can certainly wait on the PT agenda! :-)
