Band Concert Time

Today the kids and I went to a Tiny Tots band concert at a local high school with friends. The band played seasonal music along with some music from movies. My kids were captivated.
Wesley and Lydia sat in the same seat for most of the concert. At least it kept them from getting folded up in the seat.
Janet's baby, David, was also engrossed in the concert. (It was hard to get good photos in the darkened auditorium.)
High school students were dressed up in costumes and they danced around entertaining the kids. Wesley and Lydia were very interested in Goofy and The Big Bad Wolf. At the end all of the characters came out together.
One highlight for the adults and kids was the tap dancing penguin. He came out again at the end with Santa. Lydia was more interested in the penguin than Santa. She doesn’t really know who Santa is because we try to really down play him. She probably liked the penguin because she loves the book, “The Penguin Who Hated the Cold.”

What a great idea to have a band like that specifically for tots! I would so go to that! The kids look precious sharing their seat. :)

That was so cute! It's just like what Hunter's school (and us moms) went to.
