When it is 15 Degrees Outside
It was extremely cold here on Friday and Saturday. I hate cold weather. I hate being cold and I hate dealing with the coats, hats, and mittens. I went out to lunch with a friend on Friday and I needed an extra chair just for our coats. I am grateful that we have warm stuff to wear and that it usually isn't this cold here.

The kids got some exercise chasing each other through the tunnels and then they sat quietly and "read" books to each other.
Wesley called the teepee a pyramid even though I tried to explain that it was a teepee.
When Chris got home I asked him how much he paid for this set. It was $30 at the local warehouse store. I think we are getting our money's worth. And it is helping to keep our house sane this weekend.

I am glad I never potty trained children in winter!! Or that we ever had winter potty accidents! I always kept a change of elastic shorts and t shirts in hawaii with us!
There's an awful lot to be said for sanity, Renee! Yikes, it sure was cold. The tent looks like so much fun--Samantha had a playdate on Sunday with a little girl who had a tent like that, and she just loved it!
That is the coolest tent/tunnel ever!!! I wish I could play in it! (o:
I wish I could think to do things like this. You need to come over and teach me, friend. :)
