Winter Wonderland

We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning.
I wanted to go out and take pictures right away before the snow started falling off the trees.
Lydia didn't want to go for a walk in the snow so I left her with my next door neighbor and took the neighbor's dog for a walk. Who knew a dog wouldn't cooperate for a photo.

The park was beautiful.

I think the dog was hoping to get in the water.

Every time I stopped to take pictures, the dog had fun plowing through the snow on her side. She was funny to watch.
Wesley also had fun walking in the snow.
A pretty scene as we walked up the big hill.
Wesley asked if he could play on the playground. I said no but maybe I should have said yes.
We didn't shovel our driveway; the snow all melted away from the driveway and sidewalks today. The forecast for this weekend is, "We're talking about significant accumulations" and "Most of the areas are probably going to see an excess of a foot. There are going to be some spots where it will be closer to 2 feet of snow when everything is said and done." We will see.

Beautiful pics! I love walking in the snow when it is falling or has just fallen, before it gets all dirty. Let it snow!

Yes, those pictures are great. I love the snow ones, of course, but I think that is a great one you took of Wesley's face and chest. He is adorable!
