She Lost Her First Tooth at Busch Gardens!

We started the day with a quick trip to Target and JC Penny to buy a long sleeve shirt for me and jackets for the kids. Everything was on sale and I spent less than $25 total. I am no longer the super planner and preparer for trips like I used to be.

Wesley started the day off on the Lock Ness Monster. Lydia got to help groom a Clydesdale.

The kids also got to pet this little screech owl.

While Chris was riding a roller coaster Wesley and Lydia wanted to win a toy for Josiah.  Lydia won the water gun game.

Eveyone loved the carousel.

Josiah didn't take a nap and stayed awake until 9:00 that night!
Wesley and Lydia love Da Vinci's Cradle.

Josiah joined Chris, Wesley, and Lydia on the Battering Ram.

We let the kids get a special treat.  I got white chocolate marshmallows on a stick for Josiah.  Wesley choose a carmel apple and wanted it sliced for easier eating.  Lydia did not want her chocolate apple sliced.
One minute Lydia was enjoying her apple and the next minute she was crying that her tooth hurt.  One of her bottom front teeth was loose.  While Chris was riding a roller coaster she asked me to pull it for her.  It came right out but she was a little traumatized at first.  After a few minutes she thought it was the coolest thing ever to loose her first tooth at Busch Gardens!
I took this picture of Chirs on The Griffon.  We both really liked this roller coaster.  I thought it was so funny that as the train is pulling back into the station, the announcer says, "Unbuckle your seatbelt and prepare for departure" before it is actually time to get off the coaster.  You can tell that on peak crowd days they are trying very hard to speed up the unloading and reloading process.  Thankfully, we were able to walk right on most of the rides including this one.
The newest coaster, Verbolten was closed parts of both days for mechanical issues.  Chris and Wesley rode it before lunch then it was closed for a few hours.  While Wesley and I were on The Loch Ness Monster I saw Verbolten was working again so we rushed over there.  We only waited about 15 minutes.  Wesley wanted to sit in the back row.  He is braver than me and holds his hands up.

Verbolten isn't the best coaster but it has the best theming.
