Magic Kingdom

Before going on the cruise, we spent 6 days at Disney.  Last year we went to Disney six weeks after going on the cruise.  This year we combined the trips. We spent Monday and Wednesday of the trip at Magic Kingdom.

This year, my parents went with us to Disney.  They had not been to Disney since 1983.

The kids liked playing in line at the Winnie the Pooh ride. We did this ride early in the day, so the line was fairly short.

I think the carousel was one of Josiah's favorite rides but he liked everything.  All three kids like all the rides. They love Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion.

When the park first opened, Cinderella's step mother and wicked step sisters were riding Prince Charming's Carousel.

We rode Dumbo first thing both days at Magic Kingdom.

The Astro Orbiter.

Wesley wanted to ride every ride with my dad. My dad rode all but three rides at Disney World.

Last night, my mom told me that it was fun to ride the rides with the kids.  She wasn't talking about this ride.  The Astro Orbiter was her least favorite ride of the ones she rode.

My dad rode Splash Mountain both days we were at Magic Kingdom. He also rode Big Thunder Railroad twice on the second day. He never rode rides like this when I was kid.  It must be something about being a grandparent.

He looks like he enjoyed it but maybe not as much as Wesley did.  

While I rode Space Mountain with Wesley and Lydia, Josiah posed with Stitch.

Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger spin is always fun for the kids.
