Turning Three

When we got home from Day Out With Thomas, we had dinner and cake and Wesley opened his parents from us and my parents. One of my friends made this adorable cake and Wesley was very excited to have a train cake.

Wesley loves this Elefun game. He doesn't exactly play by the rules but it has already provided hours of entertainment.

We gave Hunter a scooter for his birthday and Wesley became obsessed with getting one for his birthday. He even told his teacher at school that he was getting a scooter for his birthday. Thankfully it wasn't a very expensive present and my parents got it for him. Notice the elbow pads and knee pads. He practiced the next two days with my parents on the flat bike path in the woods. My dad said that he could lift up his foot and coast a little but he was often distracted by other things. I heard he spent some time study an earth worm.
A few days later, Hunter gave him a present. When I told Wesley that he could open his present from Hunter he asked, "Do I have to share it with Lydia?" I think we are going to be working on this sharing thing for a long time.

What great pictures. R had a Thomas themed 3rd bday too, but not with such a cool, cool cake. Looks like you had fun!!
