Maybe They Need More Sleep

When Lydia is tired and just wants to rest a minute, she goes to the bottom step and makes herself comfortable. She does this on a daily basis especially if she has her blanket downstairs.

The Friday we left for our camping trip, I kept the kids up instead of putting them down for their naps because I wanted them to nap on the way to Cunningham Falls State Park. We were planning to leave at 2:00 so I thought Wesley would easily stay awake until then. While I was getting my clothes together (which was the last stuff to be packed), Wesley started saying that he was tired and that he wanted to "leap". I turned around and saw him curled up in the laundry basket with his bear.

Speaking of sleeping, here is a cute one of Lydia from our trip to the zoo on Saturday. I was actually surprised that she stayed awake until 4:00. She didn't even wake up when Chris put her in the car.

Here is an update on the black-out shades. They are working great. Even if Wesley wakes up at 5:30 (like this morning because he wanted his blanket adjusted), he now goes back to sleep. The kids now usually sleep until 7:00 which gives me some quiet time in the morning.

Oh my, that's cute! You know, even though Hunter did NOT nap today, he was tired. In the car, he said, "I want to take a rest in the car, Mommy." Oh well... :)

Can I just eat them up with a spoon? You think I can take at least one of 'em home with me later this month???
