On Saturday it wasn't really warm enough for Chris to take Wesley and Lydia to the pool especially since it had rained so much. We wanted to do something outside with Wesley and Lydia and we decided to go to
Reston Zoo. I think it is a little expensive to go there but we got one kid in free with a coupon from the Entertainment Book. Little Josiah was just along for the ride but since it wasn't a very hot day, it was a perfect time to take him out.
Wesley and Lydia loved the petting zoo. They really enjoyed feeding the animals grain.

Another family gave us this bottle. Most of the animals were not interested in the bottle.

When we went on the wagon ride, I carried Josiah in the front carrier. He slept the entire time.

Wesley was excited to see the bison.

One of the zebras follows the deer around and the other zebra follows her around. Check out the houses next to the zoo. Do you think the zoo adds to their home value or substracts from it? I bet it adds to the value.

This rhea got a little to close to me for comfort.

I liked seeing the baby ostriches.

Both Wesley and Lydia were happy to pet this python.

It is always neat to see the kangeroos. Wesley noticed they had watermellon in their food bowls.

Of course this alligator was one of the kids' favorite animals at the zoo.

Wesley and Lydia had a great time at the zoo and did a lot of walking and running around which was just what we were looking for on Saturday.

I still carry our baby...I want a pic from the top down like that. I have side view pics of me, but I want a top down pic.
Josiah is so cute like that! Great pic. Of course W and L are cute, too, but gotta love on my newborn. xoxox
I'm also jealous that it wasn't hot enough to go to the pool. Ugh!
